Background

Grounded in science, built on experience

I hold a Master of Education (Reading Specialist) from the University of St. Thomas and have spent the last seven years in Singapore, most recently as a Reading Specialist at Overseas Family School — delivering structured literacy intervention grounded in the Science of Reading for Grades 1–5. My approach draws on systematic phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension frameworks, always led by careful assessment of each individual child.

Rooted in the Science of Reading

01
Assess before assuming

Every child begins with a reading and phonics assessment. No assumptions — just a clear, evidence-based picture of where they are and what they need.

02
Systematic, not scattered

Sessions follow a structured plan targeting phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension — the strands of Scarborough's Reading Rope — in a sequence that builds real skill.

03
Progress you can see

Regular reassessment and parent updates keep everyone informed. Plans adapt as children grow — sessions always work at the right level.

Hear from families
